  4. Gus Frerotte, DEN - Can start in a pinch.
  5. Rick Mirer, SF - May be ready to settle into starting.
Running Backs
  1. Garrison Hearst, SF - Some fears here, but still multitalented.

  3. Warrick Dunn, TB - Great in the right situation.
  4. Michael Pittman, ARI - Buyer beware, but has lots of ability.
  5. James Allen, CHI - Has done it before, and is still young.
Wide Receivers
  1. Cris Carter, MIN - If Rice did it, so can Carter.
  2. Willie Jackson, NO - Deserves more recognition.
  3. Az-Zahir Hakim, STL - Should get a shot as a starter.
  4. Jerome Pathon, IND - Great talent, but injury history.
  5. Germaine Crowell, DET - See Pathon.
Tight Ends
  1. Shannon Sharpe, BAL - Still has it when there is a QB.
  2. Byron Chamberlain, MIN - Pure pass-catcher, but good.
  3. Ken Dilger, IND - Well rounded, will not last long.
  4. Damon Jones, JAX - Has all the talent, but needs a break.
  5. Stephen Alexander, WAS - Seen the Pro Bowl, but injured often.
Offensive Linemen
  1. Olin Kreutz (C), CHI - As good as there is.
  2. Victor Riley (T), KC - Not great yet, but market has thinned.

  4. Anthony Clement (T), ARI - Hasn't reached full potential, but will.
  5. Corey Raymer (C), WAS - Solid and underrated.
Defensive Linemen
  1. John Parrella (DT), SD - Continues to improve. Hard worker.
  2. La'Roi Glover (DE), NO - Declined, but still very solid.
  3. Reinard Wilson (DE), CIN - Pure pass-rusher, but still in demand.
  4. Renaldo Wynn (DE), JAX - Overlooked, but still improving.
  5. Grady Jackson (DT), OAK - Kept Raider middle from falling apart.
Linebackers
  1. Donnie Edwards (OLB), KC - Outstanding talent.
