Not Necessarily The End

I cannot imagine a sadder moment. Being so overinundated with outside responsibilities that I can no longer maintain Skill Positions in the manner that you, my loyal visitors are used to. Unfortunately, that's the way it is.

In case you wanted a reason, let me just say that I have another business, which is on the verge of some very wonderful success. I also have a wife and five children that I enjoy spending time with. So while it is sad that I can no longer produce a high quality website focused on the game I love, it will be nice to have the time to dedicate myself to taking care of my family, and spending time with them.

My plan was to move Skill Positions to someone else by some means, instead of going the route I am forced to go. I would still like to see this happen. I have plenty of offers to re-route the site into someone elses, but I would prefer to see it sit in a different format than to simply disappear. So I have made changes.

This is not to tell you that by no means will the site just sit stagnant. Instead, the links will send you to other areas, with much of the same information. This only takes me a few minutes a week, versus the 20-25 hours I have put into it during the season.

Instead of my article, I will post some of my favorite writers around the scene. So you will still be able to find all the information you're used to, you will simply be sent to other sources.

Down the road, you could see a resurgence here. I would like to someday take this site to the top, but I will need more staff.

The site says "Built For The Love of the Game" and that is truly meant. It will still be here, things will just be different.

I apologize if this comes as a shock, or makes you angry. You may still email me with questions under the "Ask Mike" link. I will always find time for this.

Thank you, for your patronidge over these last few years. It's been fun, and I hope I can make it fun for you again in the future.
